Air peace on Friday April 17, 2020, distributed a large amount of food items to the less privileged in the area in Sabo Makoko in Yaba and Ajegunle areas of Lagos in cushioning the effect of the restriction order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The airlines officials gave out bags of rice,cartons of noodles,and loaves, of bread to hundreds of people who have been seriously affected by the virus lock down aimed at curtaining the spread of the the pandemic that has stifled the global economy.

The chairman of Air Peace,MR ALLEN ONYEMA, who also came out to help distribute the food items,made mentioned that the airline is aware of the current lock down has made it very difficult for many nigerians to eke out living as they are under the government directive to stay at home so as to curtain the spread of coronavirus.

Adding to what he had said was what they did was their own way of touch lives of the people,that's why we came to makoko,which is populated by very indigent people,when we leave here now we are going to ajegunle, we are providing them with bags of rice and cartons of noodles.
 The large turn out of people shows that there is hunger in the country, also saying we cannot leave  the for the people to the  government alone,the private sector must be involve in this; he also said if you have two million naira in your house,use N200,000 to help people around you,if you have one million naira  use N100,000 to help people around you cause we are living in the extraordinary times.

Finally Onyema said one way or another,let us take positive from the coronavirus situation,now people have discovered that wealth is nothing because you cannot take the money to your grave so you must do anything you can to help touch lives of people around you my happiness will not be complete if people around me do not benefit from my prosperity.
